(real name - Roman Polikarpov) is a music producer, beatmaker. The artist described his style of music as lo-fi hip-hop inspired by old jazz records from around the world.
Making music with passion since 2014, he got into lo-fi hip-hop beats in 2020. After a couple releases on streaming platforms Prod. By Outtake teamed with labels such as Goji Island, Acantharea, Chill Moon Music, Vinyl Digital. Got his first successful release “higher” on Goji Island at the end of 2021 which was added to Spotify editorial playlists such as lofi beats , Jazz Vibes , lush lofi , Chillout Lounge . Next singles “Reflection” “Glass” has the same success and only strengthened his position in playlists and continued to send chill vibes to people around the world.
At the beginning of 2023 he started to release his first solo EP album “Karina” - a collection of 6 songs, that he worked on all the past year! Every song have it’s own vibe and tells about his feelings from certain moments happening that year. 9th February he released his first song “Morning” - boom bap infused lo-fi beat that will make any Golden Era fan happy!

Joe has been active in the music for over 15 years and currently works as a Producer and Mix & Mastering engineer in the Pacha Mama Studio. His first release dates back to 2006 where he made quite the buzz in the dutch hiphop scene as Cartes & Kleine Jay. Together they've won numerous prizes and performed over 200 live shows. After that he produced a lot of reggae music including Fire Inna Babylon, Rasta Works, Earth A Run Red, Timeless Dub & A Luta Continua Now on this journey Joe Sunrise tries to capture the magic of the good ol' days where drums packed a punch and the loop gave you goosebumps.

Born in Austin, TX to a Dutch mother and Texan father, Louk grew up surrounded by active and inspiring musical environment. He began studying saxophone at the age of 12, focusing on jazz improvisation and theory and eventually graduating from the University of Texas Jazz Program. During his final year at UT Louk formed Soul Food Horns- a collective of recording horn players/producers. Their studio collaborations with artists like Netherfriends, Mathien, and Cloudchord helped them become an established a recording entity. In 2017 he moved to Amsterdam indefinitely- continuing to record/manage Soul Food Horns remotely. Since then he has collaborated often with Dutch producers Yasper, Glimlip, DESH, delaney., Papi Thereso (etc.). In 2020 he founded Cole Slaw Records, a production collective and label that focuses on the intersection of Hip Hop and Jazz.
