Roving Jewel - the 38th Expansion

Roving Jewel is a beatmaker/multi-instrumentalist/producer presently residing in Sacramento, California. First introduced to the guitar at age 11, his musicianship and sound have evolved over time. His production embraces influences ranging from Boom Bap, Jazz, Lo-fi, World, Soul, and Psychedelia.

His current album, The 38th Expansion, is a record packed with legendary MCs including Wu-Tang affiliates Killah Priest and Prodigal Sunn of Sunz of Man, 9th Prince and Kinetic 9 of Killarmy, Tek of Smif-N-Wessun, Casual of Hiero, Planet Asia, Zion I, Substantial, and more. This sonic experience echoes back to hip hop's golden era through sounds of the future.

Recent works released include a video for The Theme featuring Prodigal Sunn off of the aforementioned album, production on the EP Stay on Point by Ockx, and a song crafted for the Satori Movement company which premiered on Thrasher.com
