I am REE5EFROMTHA270, I'm 20 years old and from Paducah, Kentucky. I've been actively writing music since I was 7, and singing as well. I started recording my own music in 2016 and releasing it all on soundcloud. I am influenced by alot of older Hiphop artist and alot of rnb artist as well. I make more than one genre of music, and it comes in clutch that I can sing because I can create a fire hook and verses to make fire songs. I know my sound and style is unique and not too many people sound like me in music today. I AM A RARE BREED, anything I make I either witnessed it first hand or it happened to ME. I have no room for creating a fake image and portraying things I am not so I stick to keeping it real. Ibe gone through alot in my life to make me who I am today, and that's what I want to share with the world, I WILL share it with the world. I hope you enjoy the track as much as others have. Its FIRE. Right now I am coming up with my next mixtape #THE270TAPE, which has a few collabs with one including IllyTheAssassin. I have performed at a few venues in St. Louis, including the venue "Red Flag" and the turn out was great. Some of my influences would be people like Bryson Tiller, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, NAS, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Chris Brown just to name a few. I came from a small town that not many people even know about, and have struggled alot throughout my life, but music has always been my escape. In addition to being a vocal artist, I play instruments too. I was in my highschool marching band playing in the percussion section. I've been 1st chair in all state Kentucky back when I was in middle school and have won a few awards for being a distinguished snare drum player. I also play tuba and that was the first instrument I started out on. My most popular song is titled "Smoke" and has currently 10.8k views on soundcloud. I have also took the time to teach myself how to mix and master my own songs on pretty simple equipment and FLSTUDIO. These songs I have recorded sound high quality and were recorded in my room with equipment all of my own. I have literally taught myself everything that I know when it comes to recording and writing music. I have many goals including gaining global attention, being nominated for major awards like Grammys, AMA's, BET Awards, and any other award I can get for making music. I WANT IT ALL, and I'm gonna get it one step at a time.

Reks skewers the modern education system in the thought-provoking new video for “Miss Education,” a timely and sharp look into the ways in which educators can often hold back the brightest young minds. Like many of society’s ills, the issues with education are steeped in discrimination but also a strict adherence to rules that simply don’t make sense. And Reks brings this concept to life with his rhymes as well as this video, which features the directorial work of Logos Films and Impunity Films. Check out the visuals and support Reks’ latest album, T.H.I.N.G.S., which is availalble now via Brick Records through your preferred digital retailer or streaming platform. The 19 track LP boasts guest appearances and production by the likes of Pharoahe Monch, Lil Fame, Evidence, Marco Polo, Nottz, Statik Selektah, Apollo Brown and more, with limited vinyl copies available in a splatter configuration courtesy of, Get On Down.

I write about my life & the struggles I’ve been through in hopes it’ll inspire and uplift your spirits. My only goal is to show you it doesn’t matter where you come from or how you were raised, if you have the will, you can make anything you desire come to fruition. Keep your head up! One Love ❤️
