Influences range from Dave East, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Nas, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Big, Tupac, Jadakiss, Wu Tang Clan and way too many more from not only the golden era but even the newest music. Random thoughts chained together that I've thought about with covid and personal things in life. First release of the year for me after a break. I'm living in the studio right now until my next video starts up. I'm planning to hit shows in different cities this year to get more buzz around me and spread my work around."

I wrote this song about a women I fell in love with. Recorded it with her and made the video with her. I think it’s rare now a days to here real hip hop. I come from the 90s era where the music was straight forward. All I want to do is change the world with my music. I go by Fryday I am a upcoming hip hop artist from Northern California just looking for an opportunity. I’m in the process of rebranding myself right now so this is my only song out, but I have done shows all throw out California and have opened for a bunch of different names. I have more music coming soon and would love to share it with everyone. I just want to be patient with how I want to release it all. Please watch the video give me a follow and share. I will respond if you reach out. I’m all about good vibes so thank you for your time!
South African R&B singer and songwriter Elaine is kicking off her next era of music with her moody new single “Right Now.” The beautifully shot music video, directed by Nape Phasha, shows Elaine living her best life and putting herself and her music first after being frustrated with her lover. The song was featured on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music radio show New Music Daily alongside a FaceTime interview with Zane today.
“This song is exactly what it means and feels like to welcome growth, celebrate being a confident woman and find comfort in independence,” says Elaine. “When making this song, I remember walking up to the mic with a lot of things I was carrying in my heart but had trouble communicating and relaying to others. After I recorded it, things changed for me. The concept of Love transformed from being a good lover to someone, to being a good lover to myself too.”
“Right Now” marks her first new song release since 2019’s history-making EP Elements. The 7-song collection blends mellow yet sweet R&B melodies with hints of trap-inspired moodiness. With Elements, which was certified Platinum in South Africa, Elaine became the first independent female artist to ever reach #1 on the Apple Music Sub-Saharan African charts.
Already a household name as the most streamed female artist in her home country, Elaine is ready to make her mark in the US. In case you missed it, check out this special intro video piece on Elaine.
Now 22 years old, Elaine was born in Pretoria and began singing in the pre-school choir, immediately earning a love for the stage. From that point, Elaine partook in multiple talent show competitions both as a soloist and part of the choir, even winning a gold medal at 2014’s 8th World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia. While studying in law school in 2019, Elaine had the urge to create her first project that later shaped into her debut EP Elements. She had an amazing start with her breakout single “You’re The One,” which has over 6 million video views to date and hit #1 on Apple Music South Africa charts upon release. The EP follows a journey through love, heartbreak and renewal, and ended up making history for Elaine, making her the first female independent artist to reach No. 1 on the Apple Music Sub-Saharan African charts. As a nominee for MTV Africa’s Music Awards for Breakthrough Act, Elaine is truly a star awaiting her takeover across the sea. Elaine just finished her law degree at Johannesburg’s University of the Witwatersrand and is working on a slew of new releases including her major-label debut album.
My name is Omari Dixon rap name is “Yung Sinba”. Sort of like simba because of the personal influence lion king had over me I just added my little twist. The video I’m trying to submit is called woah woah woah and it’s my debut for visuals. It’s a little out of my primary style but only to appeal to masses. It’s a trippy vibe filled with fun flows and (in my opinion) elite lyricism. My main influences off the top of my head are Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the creator, childish gambino. This current song is a single to a album I anticipate dropping called “96 Taurus” which symbolize my body mind and spirit. Comes from me being born in 1996 and zodiac sign being Taurus. I’ve been an to my self person for the most part so as result I don’t have as much of a following as my peers. But that’s something I’m eagerly trying to change.

I go by the name jspoon im a rapper born out of new haven Connecticut i grew up in a jungle most nights we had to sleep on the floor because of gun shots me and my siblings had it rough growing up. And not having a lot and getting picked on about what name brands you don't know were leads to fights almost every day. Where I'm from you either fight or die so you really had to grow up quick. Plus I had a mom who didn't give a shit about me because I look like my pops and they had a toxic relationship that's why she treated me the way she did my aunt told me. But for that same reason my uncles and family say I'm the most dangerous one out of the four because i had to show myself how to do pretty much every thing i use to get beat for everything even shit i didn't even do. and I was the first to square up for anything disrespectful.and fighting was my shit because I was taught NEVER to hit a girl and I knew I was strong so I NEVER did but my mom would pick up anything and hit you to the point were you wanna put hands on something or someone so being able to take it out on who ever else was therapy in it self to me .but eventually we moved because our home burned down so we moved to new York to making money Mount vernon. were we stayed with family it was a cool switch from hood to home until we started going at it with family then we eventually went into the shelter. were i got into a lot of police problems because of having less than i had b4 made for more problems. it made the streets easier at 13.and I would freestyle my pain and thoughts while i was in the street.then eventually moved again to new Rochelle were i started my first day in a fight with a dude with homies because my brother wanna tell people he from murder vill but they were playing tuff because when it came to those hands with the first one k.o the rest ran but my second k.o in new York came from my first day in middle school because my mom left us all back a year so we could all be closer in school so I looked older then most plus i had facial hair so this kid called me a substitute teacher and kids started laughing so I knocked him out his shoes because were I'm from only your homies and people you no could clown not randoms so from that i got suspended for two weeks then I got into football when I got back because the coach told me he was impressed but wanted to see how i hit on the field so water boyed everything on the field using my mom face on everybody to take my anger out on.
Music was my plan a and football was my plan b plus my mom use to kick me out at 13 so I knew early i had to make my own way in life because being in gangs and and streets wouldn't work forever the you try to do good for me trouble follows so I use yo ask this lady at this restaurant for a job almost every day and she use to tell me i was to young for 8 months until i told here i wasn't eating at home and she gave me a Job under the books and free food every day i worked plus tips but one night she didn't work and the kitchen was closed so I went to town because i knew i couldn't eat a home my bro got into a lil situation with his girl and another girl and a fight broke out it started with the girls and ended with me going to jail for almost 2 years for assault on 3 officers but some lady brought a tape in clearing me of all charges but while inside I got rejection letters from scout's because of the fight with the police and my mom never came to see or write me just except that one time to tell me ill never be shit just like my dad then we moved again when I got out because no school wanted to take me and i got kicked out of alternative school to but through it all I always rapped i almost gave it up for a lil while after having some kids and my mom died but I stuck to it and I've been killing shows opening up for big name artist like fed the God son/murderMook/ jada/ drag/on shawty low/ people love my music my music for it self music is my life I wake up everyday with new ideas I love music for me its something I can't go one day without doing my rapping could be triggered by a simple beat or sound its been that way since I started rapping since the age of eight.because I was like 50 the out cast of the family so I constantly found myself in trouble or in something but that comes with the territory of raising yourself so i put all that pain and frustration on wax and people started to gravitate to what I've been rapping and doing and i also write for others I’m very versatile I’m working on my album I can’t wait to release my project I’ve also collaborated with some celebs in the industry but now I’m just ready for the world to no my name and my story my hunger my struggle and my pain my musical inspiration comes from listening to BIG,DMX lil Wayne ,Rick Ross, snoop, AND JAY AND NO MATTER WHAT IM NOT GONNA STOP UNTILL IM ONE ONE THE GREATS

New Orleans Own Blak Duv hails from the downtown 7th Ward/Treme area of New Orleans. A very tough environment for one to come from and make something of themselves. On October 31, 2016 he and his cousin were bought struck by a speeding van in a collision that left Blak Duv unable to walk for 2 years. Through a lot of prayers, hard work and physical therapy he rose to his feet with a new found purpose in life. That purpose is to inspire all and to let them know how great the God we serve really is. He has been a local poet in New Orleans for over 10 years and has represented New Orleans many times nationwide through poetry/spoken word as well as hip hop. His words are very powerful and have been thrilling crowds for over a decade now. He possesses the sound of a modern day Nas or Tupac Shakur with deep soulful stories on life, love, and spirituality. The symbol Blak Duv originates from his everlasting commitment to promote black hope which the Dove signifies. Definitely a star in the making. You can check out his latest project “Life After Wreck : 20/20 Vision Ep” at https://linktr.ee/blakduv7. Be on the lookout for Blak Duv in a city near you soon..
