Young up and coming artist seeking maximum exposure hoping to make a major impact on the music industry and hopefully fans lives'. I started making music at age 10 and started taking it seriously at age 12. I looked to music as a an escape because growing life wasn't all that good coming from an unhappy home and getting bullied at school for being different. I didn't take it seriously at first because it as just a hobby but as time went on it started having an impact on me and from then i really started embracing music and realising the effect and impact it can have on one's life. Growing up I really too an interest in rap, especially gangsta rap. I really resonate more with aggressive music and it makes me feel better. My favourite artists were Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem. Eminem in particular stands out for me. His freestyles were amazing and intrigued me. He easily became my favourite artist. Some of my favourite songs by him are beautiful, seduction and way I am. I aspire to be like him in every way and strive to be just as successful. I was also inspired by some artists as to why they do music and here are a few examples:
“My kids are starting to notice I’m a little different from the other dads. ‘Why don’t you have a straight job like everyone else?’ they asked me the other day.
I told them this story: ‘In the forest, there was a crooked tree and a straight tree. Every day, the straight tree would say to the crooked tree, “Look at me… I’m tall, and I’m straight, and I’m handsome. Look at you… you’re all crooked and bent over. No one wants to look at you.” And they grew up in that forest together.
And then one day the loggers came, and they saw the crooked tree and the straight tree, and they said, “Just cut the straight trees and leave the rest.” So the loggers turned all the straight trees into lumber and toothpicks and paper. And the crooked tree is still there, growing stronger and stranger every day.'”
“My number one goal is to have a cultural impact, and I think you can be a pop star who also makes really experimental and forward-thinking music. [That] is the goal right now, anyway. My long term dream is to be like Timbaland; I don’t necessarily want to be a performer in the long run. The thing I want to do the most is create pop stars, and if I become a pop star myself, I feel like I will learn everything there is to know about making more of them. Plus, it’s fun and I get lots of free stuff and spend all my time writing songs, which is pretty fucking sick.” and with that being said I mean how could you not be inspired. Also music is universal and there is also always a little something something for everyone. Every person has a different preference in their choice of music to listen to, which may change over time or based on mood. There is a diverse variety of music for any person to enjoy, ranging from hard to soft. I listen to different music genres, depending on my mood or what time of the day. For example, if I am exercising then I choose rock or pop music. If I am trying to relax then I choose classical music. There is a type of music for every person to listen to, to enjoy, and even to relate to. There are many choices of music, but there is never a need to choose just one. When I hear a certain song that is played and listen to the lyrics being sung, this can often describe a situation or experience that I may be going through at that particular time along with the particular emotions that are felt. This can help me to feel better by knowing that another person has been through a similar type of challenge also, and or has felt the same emotions about certain things. A special song, with amazing lyrics and even a good rhythm, can always mean so much to a person. And i wanna be able to do the same for people every where and I need backing and exposure to do so.
