Melo Da Don
16 years old upcoming artist out of Harrisburg, PA. My family is from all over but mostly Brooklyn, LA, and Kingston,Jamaica. I’ve been around all types of music my whole life which have definitely influenced my writing style. I’m a 3-sport athlete with a 4.0 GPA, but have overcame great struggles. I’m working on “Opening Act” a 12 track mixtape and have over 70 songs written for it. I currently have been rapping since May 21st and have garnered around 50k SoundCloud plays in the short amount of time. I’ve also been contacted by various people to work with em including a Grammy nominated producer. My biggest influencers are A Boogie (whom many people have been saying I sound like since I was in middle school) and Polo G. I use a melodic pacing in most of my songs. My favorite artists are Meek Mill and Yungeen Ace alongside the aforementioned two. I’ve battled homelessness, brokenness, and loss of loves one as well as great adversity over the course of my life. I had to get it on my own and decided to turn that into millions which is why I’ve been rapping the past six weeks and I believe it’s a natural talent. I hope you give me the chance as you won’t regret it I’m up next! I have yet to have an actual performance due to my short time in the game. I’m actually relocating to Atlanta, Georgia before the upcoming school year and plan on taking off once there. My two biggest collaborators are one of my don family members (LA Puto) and Travi-B. Both well known for their excellent rapping skills in my city too. My biggest song so far is “Fuck a Hook” which has over 21,000 plays and did 5,000 plays in its first day. Second is “Pop Out” which is viewed as my best released song also garnering about 20,000 plays. Most of my media success has came from my unreleased single “Wasted Times” as people on IG love it. Actually plan on dropping it and the visual to it the same day sometime this month as I continue working on “Opening Act”. Another connection I made was with NoCaps cover artist who actually dmed me to work with me. Although I haven’t used is cover art yet I surely will as I continue to drop bangers.
